Inspired by the weather we have been having in Texas. Yesterday it was 72 in the morning by last night it was 32. This morning even colder with a fire in the fireplace. This weather in Texas is amazing. So I felt like the windy sky was cooling and the ground was still very warm from the morning sun.. That's why I call this piece Warm & Hot.  6X6 Gesso Board.

I see these cars and trucks just sitting in the fields of East Texas. I'm attracted to them because I know there is a story about each of them. Sometimes I can just imagine and wounder. Where they have been and what have they seen in there day.
I also enjoy painting them in the raw will the rust and ware and tare of life. I also hear story's from the people who buy them and they often say this reminds me of ___________   fill in the blank. or this was just like the family car or my dad had one he just loved. I would very much like to hear your story if you willing to share. Side note I have no idea of the make and model or year could you help me.

During this last Rose Festival in Tyler I was admiring these roses just glowing in the sun. There where bees all over the place and they where busy. These jewels are so hard to keep and grow  and also just as hard to paint. I hope this brightens up your home or that of one of your family's members. We are very blessed this year in East Texas to actually have the Azaleas blooming during the Azalea trails week. Captures these in a lawn just as the light was breaking through to light them up as if they where on stage. Wanted to share this experience with you to enjoy.

We don't have much snow in this are but when we do it is wonderland to us. The colors of cools and warm blues set thing in motion and creates a subtle mood. The sun is always there however hidden in the clouds and only visits in rare occasions.

  As we hear about Buffalo NY getting another 3 feet of snow on top of the 6 feet previous.You either love it or hate it the one good thing about this snow is it doesn't melt or get cold. I painted this scene on a larger version if your interested let me know will make you a deal.  Back to this painting I love the fresh fall of new snow the cool shadows and warm sun glow creating an great contrast. Very much a path worth checking out don't get lost and enjoy.

"Coastal Seashell" SOLD

This is a shell I found on the East Coast a few years ago . I wanted to paint a still life so here it is.  This shell is the size of a Soft Ball very huge. Was trying a style that Dennis Sheehan talks about what a master Artist. It turned out better than expected. Again 6X6 on canvas board. My goal is to make it affordable enough that anyone can have a original of my artwork.
