  I liked how the large oak was covering everything, and  to paint it in such a way that it was in the painting yet not the focus. The bed of Tulips is what caught my eye peaking out from under the shadow of the red bush . I just wanted to share this treasure of a find with you.

We are having a beautiful spring this year for our Azaleas. Here I have captures red and white ones or I should say the sun has captured them. What a beautiful scene with the red Japanese maple above it. If you don't have azaleas in your area they can be white, red and pink flowers bushes. My mom had a Japanese maple in the yard they are also very unique and colorful. They don't grow very big and they have a very unique shaped leaf very long fingers." Something a bit cooler , I went from fire now to ice.
About a month ago I had this strange feeling as I was walking to look over my shoulder. This is what I saw the morning mist and the moon playing peek a poo with me. One minute you would see it the next it was gone. I thought how do I capture this moment and do it justice? The colors are very muted and yet peaceful I was very careful to keep all the tones close on the sky. This is my painting of "MORNING MOON" thanks for looking. I have no idea how your able to paint something so massive on a small canvas and still do it justice.
I am pleased how this turned out however I need help naming it.

My time of refreshing is when I look at a quiet stream or pond and can only hear nature talking to me. Found this pond and it was so peaceful and tranquil to me. Still working on the photo part of posting a paintings with the added white boarders trust me they are not crook it, like it seems here. Just adds a great finishing touch to the painting.

There may be proof that spring is around the corner. We see early signs of flowers in this area. Now that it has stopped raining and freezing for a few days. This painting shows a hint of the sun and the signs of a future warmer weather. We will see the way in this painting.

I'm looking at these 2 trees and all I could think of  was one short and wide and one tall and skinny.
Then it hit me the comedy duo Laurel and Hardy well now that I aged myself here it is for your curiosity.  It was more the colors one again that  I so love .

It must be the change of the atmosphere the sky is looking beautiful . Weather its a sunrise or sunset the colors are from heaven and it shows.  The glow reflecting on the distance rolling hills is what really sold me on this painting . There where some cows and fence and that would have worked however it may have been a distraction from the beauty of the sky. Plus the fact you really can only get so much into a small painting without it looking confusing or over crowded. Maybe I will add them to the bigger painting ..
