Peace not of this world isn't that what we all look for. This painting calms me down very relaxing to view. This is a scene a very good friend of shared with me and I wanted to paint it and share with you. The ocean wheat grass waving in the beach breeze as the sun settles down for the day. That is what I will call this one

When its spring and the rain stops everything  starts to bloom,. The lush green fields the streams are full and overflowing. Even the air seems alive and helps us see the colors and life becomes new again. What I like most about this painting is the contrast of last years hay and this years new growth.         Palette Of Roses Art League ,. Proudly Presents the 62nd Palette of Roses Art Show . This league has been a tradition in the Tyler area during the Roses Festival Week for 62 Years. With hundreds of members through out the years. I remember as a young artist how excited I was and how challenged this show made me to be the best artist I could be. As you know I love the arts and the people involved . I call them my "Peeps" we sure have allot of fun and should, Life is to short. Well I was so very honored to have won this years " Best Of Show' I wanted to show you the painting and my reference. And to let you know where I have been for the past month . Very Busy time of year with the workshops and the shows through out the next couple of months.I will be posting more and just wanted to share with you what I have been up to.

What fun to have one of your galleries ask to be in a show.This is very exciting for me . One of those mile markers in my life. Will defiantly enjoy seeing how the show goes. I know not everyone can come however I will keep you posted. I will have about 10-12 painting looking forward to seeing the reactions . ;o)
