Its been a day and just wanted to look at something that is beyond my ability. Only God  can bring together such a combination of light dark and color. This is my attempt to capture that and I needed to spend time looking at it. His creation brings me peace that reminds me of Phil 4;3 and the peace of God, whick surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and mind through Christ Jesus our lord. You could say it this way also. May the God Of Peace   protect what you feel in your heart and hear in your mind., how by making Jesus your Lord. What I like about this is there's  no mention of your soul because that's where He lives once you ask him into your life. So if he is the God of peace and you don't know him may bee you haven't experienced true peace in your life.  Peace to you today.

I see these cars and trucks just sitting in the fields of East Texas. I'm attracted to them because I know there is a story about each of them. Sometimes I can just imagine and wounder. Where they have been and what have they seen in there day.
I also enjoy painting them in the raw will the rust and ware and tare of life. I also hear story's from the people who buy them and they often say this reminds me of ___________   fill in the blank. or this was just like the family car or my dad had one he just loved. I would very much like to hear your story if you willing to share. Side note I have no idea of the make and model or year could you help me.

Painting the skyscape series has been very exciting it could go on forever. I wanted to capture the movement in the sky with this one. If you listen you can almost hear the wind whipping through the trees. Nature is such beauty all by itself and painting it is endless.

We don't have much snow in this are but when we do it is wonderland to us. The colors of cools and warm blues set thing in motion and creates a subtle mood. The sun is always there however hidden in the clouds and only visits in rare occasions.

  As we hear about Buffalo NY getting another 3 feet of snow on top of the 6 feet previous.You either love it or hate it the one good thing about this snow is it doesn't melt or get cold. I painted this scene on a larger version if your interested let me know will make you a deal.  Back to this painting I love the fresh fall of new snow the cool shadows and warm sun glow creating an great contrast. Very much a path worth checking out don't get lost and enjoy.

With hundreds of members through out the years. I remember as a young artist how excited I was and how challenged this show made me to be the best artist I could be. As you know I love the arts and the people involved . I call them my "Peeps" we sure have allot of fun and should, Life is to short. Well I was so very honored to have won this years " Best Of Show' I wanted to show you the painting and my reference. And to let you know where I have been for the past month . It was a pleasant surprise to see the outline of the hearts with the handles shadows. The Gold on the rim was by far the hardest to capture. Im still not happy with the photes Im thinking , I may need a better camera. Trust me these paintings dont have a hazey glare to them. Enjoy   It really is a shame how these photes don't do this one justice. Sorry;0).
