" HERE OR THERE"

The painting is a question would you rather be here by the shore. or the following picture playing in the show. This was the question I had when I posted these pictures on face book what a response. We are planning a summer getaway at a house on the ocean can't wait. There is just something about the smell of salt water and the sounds of a mighty ocean that is just relaxing to the soul. Hope you like this one Ill be painting a 24 X 36 from this 8 X10 soon. Love the comments Merry Christmas 8)

" Whats all this white stuff?" SOLD

Originally from the North East Coast saw allot of show growing up. Usually the snow looks best when its the first day down, after a few days not so much. I do miss it however I'm also very fascinated by its slight changes in colors. Not as much white by its self as you would think. So here it is my first attempt at painting a snow scene. The actual photo reference is one of a path in the woods during the summer. I just imagined what and where the snow would be. Here in East Texas we haven't had any snow yet.

It is in the same area as a earlier painting "Blue Cliff". wanted to show it in a frame to give a better fell of how nice it would look in your home.

" GODS PAINTBRUSH " SOLD

The name comes from the fact that as hard as I try only GOD can get it right. Sky's absolutely fascinate me.
I will keep trying and hopefully get it. Until then look up at the sunset and enjoy His handy work. I notice that even with a small painting like this you still get the change in the sky's shift from lighter warmer on the right to darker cooler to the left. You can almost see the distant town in this picture through the close of the day. Tell me your thought. Enjoy.

I think it was Kim English love his work also check it out. The title is like a question which one do you like the most the Shadow or the light?

"Wide Open"

I did this painting last week .This was when the skies where clear of smoke. We have been in the news with over 1000 homes on fire because of the heat and drought. Its sad to hear that one of the homes was one of our own Carol Marine - A Daily Painter. :o(
The Sky:
I am still fasinated by how clear the colors are and how the clouds hang with such beauty. The rich light blue to the darker blue.

" Stroke of GENIUS "

This has been quite an adventure. I have enjoyed the discipline of painting more and smaller than usual. Most of my painting's are 24x36 or 30X40. To plan out each stroke and lay it down with out touching it to death ( very hard ) . I have met alot of people from all over the USA. That has made it worth it all. If you have a blog and want to cross promote with me just drop me a E- mail. This is a great way to help each other. Keep your paint brushes wet.
