The magic of the sky the light and the clouds all dancing together. The lake view is just an added bonus .  The clouds where glowing with cool and warm rays breaking through the top almost like a lit crown. Yet settling onto the water as if resting again for the day .  I'm starting to think the sky scapes are my favorites what do you think ?

Earth Sky and Clouds you would think easy enough right .? Wrong, separate OK together complex. I think this one works well because of the complex differences. Worked hard on the calm blue sky and the contrast of the glowing red clouds and earth. Almost abstract yet realism great mix of the both.

This painting is to show off the clear clean skies we have in East Texas this year. We sure are blessed to have such views. It was as if the heavens opened up and shone on the grazing cows in the fields.

"Autumn Red "  6 X 6 ., Warm days cool night kinda like how I like painting as shown above. Fire and Ice comes to mind with those terms . Playing with colors and subjects feeling my way around the color wheel. Sure made a powerful painting sketch. Enough said.

"Open Field" I like this title because the the view is open to all however  it was posted no trespassing. This brings me to a question does the title on the painting matter. I say this because I was first going to call this piece "No Access". However I have heard comments about the titles of painting that seemed to bother ? confuse the viewer. So Does that really matter to you?
Well back to the painting this view went on for ever it seemed. The spot just was so calming and relaxing I really enjoyed it. The other calming effect was all the blues war and cool and of course the breeze that afternoon was delightful.
