"OCEAN SUNSET"

What is the attraction man has to the Ocean that we sit and marvel at it . Personally I love it. The sky reflecting in the water. Water capturing the sun. Wishing we were there. Enjoy.

" Whats all this Green Stuff "

SOLD
Yes, Same spot as " whats all this white stuff " However now it is Spring. This painting is on Canvas Hard Board Love it and its 7X5. Still getting used to the smaller size. Its amazing how much detail you can get in such a small piece of Art work. I'm sure you will also see a Summer or Fall version of the same scene. ENJOY your spring this year smell the flowers, I can't help you with the pollen ; (.

" BRUCE PEIL " Demo at Art League

BEFORE

"There is a wide variety of subject matter that excites me. Whether it is a majestic mountain scene or the more simple pastoral scenes in the area where we live, it’s that fleeting moment in time that I try most to capture in my paintings. I want the viewer to feel as though they are experiencing that moment in time.”
What a great opportunity to have a demo by such talent at our Art League.

"Morning Coast"

SOLD
It was early the sun was just coming up and the colors where so delicate with the morning air. It seemed allot brighter and no way of capturing it on canvas . This is a close as it gets, The yellows oranges and the purple shadow. The beach foreground colors parts of blue then warm just a kaleidoscopes for sure.Loads of Fun.

" HARBOR SUNSET"

SOLD
I Love painting sky's because of the colors. They are so awesome and so hard to match however close we get. When I saw this one I had to paint it. The lights where just coming on and the big light was fading fast. Do enjoy these paintings hope you do as well.
Thanks for the comments. Doug C

" OLD BLUE TOW TRUCK"

SOLD
I don't think it has moved in a while. I have seen it at the same spot for years. Just loved the shadows and how the truck was set in the light. Didn't even notice until I was done that one of the lights on the truck was hanging out. Goes to show you just paint what you see and presto there it is.
Painted on hard board, Enjoy.

" OLD BLUE TOW TRUCK"

"AVAILABLE"

Saw a movie this past weekend of a soldier in combat on a rescue mission. He was serving his country for us, people he did not know or will ever meet. This soldier jumped on a live grenade to save the rest of team from a deadly explosion. This soldier also had a wife and a child on the way. Sacrifice of life for another what a concept.  Just a thought Enjoy.
