When you don't know its nice to have some sort of guidance and direction. This painting gives you a direction towards the light. Rustic and true a path toward an answer. A way to go that seems right and is light. When you start a painting and have a idea how it will turn out and the end result surpasses that, it's only by the power beyond our ability that creates such work.
